Renovation, Addition and Historic Renovation
This stunning Spanish Colonial was restored
for another builder in stylish Delaney Park.
A complete and detailed historical renovation
was required to maintain the integrity of
the original design. Guidelines from the
Orlando Historical Board were consulted to
undo the damage from several unsuccessful
additions.
New work included
a three car garage with a breezeway, a
second story master suite addition, a family
room and a kitchen all of which are consistent
with the era of the original home. An existing
pool was removed to make way for a large
brick patio area in the rear of the home.
Railings, window designs and large pecky
cypress beams of the period authenticated
the interior. The kitchen cabinets were
finished in a beautiful distressed look
that coordinated with the wood ceilings.
